He wasn’t sure what to do next, he had practically gone on his instincts all the way. But now he wasn’t sure what to do, what was his next move? He leaned back and looked down at the black hair female. “Rukia…I think I over stayed my welcome. Besides you were yelling at me to get out anyways.” He joked to ease his nerves. Why am I cowering like a wet dog now…
She was dumbfounded; it all seemed like a rush, but the moment he had began to retract away from her, she snapped out of it, and just stood there. Should she let him stay, or should she let him go for the day? She just remained silent, “….the date is still on, right?” She inquired while biting her lower lip.
He found himself asking himself her question, is it? But he felt he screw that chance up with everything he just did. Then why are you leaving dummy fix it! He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah…unless you don’t want to.” He wanted to say more but nothing else came out of his mouth.
” Do you think I’d let this drop?” She could feel herself regain her composure; and she felt a bit more confident now. If they were both going to be cowards; she would be the less of them! “Of course. I promised Ino, didn’t I?” She smiled, “and…I keep my promises.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, and smile at her words. “I know you do.” He reached over and ruffled the girl’s hair with a grin on his face. “I guess I’ll leave you be then. Oh and don’t worry so much about the date, just be yourself okay.” He felt like things we returning to a calm state, which was good in his book.
Rukia watched as he began to leave. A small smile took place, and she let out a sigh of relief. Maybe that “blind” date was a good idea? She hummed to herself, and began to wait for Ino to return.

She had stared long and hard at him, but her face fell as he revealed to her who her secret date was. It took her a few moments to understand that she had just unconsciously confessed; and her face was heating up fast. She could feel his warm breath brush against her ear; and she shivered. Honestly, wasn’t he supposed to make her comfortable? This was all too strange…how their relationship stood all these years was something completely unfathomable to her. “…I’m not an idiot.” She muttered back, although she gripped loosely against the front of his shirt. A small smile graced his face at her reply, so like her. He plopped back down on the bed; he was debating on what to do next. “So she didn’t give you a hint about ‘this’ mysterious person.”
She shook her head, “It was on the spot. She just said, “Do you want to go on a double date with me and Gin?” And I…agreed.” She blinked. Oh God, she never really calculated much of how the date would go with Gin. “Eh………..but, I’m sure, since I trust her a lot nothing will happen…”
He sighed then stood up. I made up my mind. Renji walked pass the short girl and stood in front of the door with his hand on the handle. “Rukia when you said you needed help caused you were going on a date, well I already knew.” He needed to focus on his next words. “I also know who your date is. But before I tell you…was there anyone you were hoping it was?” He didn’t once turn to the girl as he spoke.
She didn’t know how to take this surprising turn of events. “……No.” Curiosity was killing her, though…actually, she knew she shouldn’t have said that. “….It..would have to be someone I would be comfortable with….” She turned even more red, she hated being put into this kind of situation!! She should have never come to him; really…but, then wasn’t it better to just end it here? “…you?” She was confused by her statement as well.
He froze at her words, what did she say? His pulse began to beat loudly filling his ear, then a strange swelling filled his chest. He slowly released the handle of the door, and turned to the girl in the room. His brown eyes stared deep into violet ones. “What…did you say?” He was confused.
She stared right back at him. “…………..Fool.” She spat back, “I-I said it already! I’m not going to say it again.” She crossed her arms, and sat on her bed looking tentatively away. What she said came out of nowhere; and it was impulse, and she was frustrated, and…,the dreaded, nervous.
He could have done many things in this situation but instead he did something he himself didn’t expect. Howls of laughter came out of the red head male. He was laughing so hard he fell onto the floor holding his sides. “I-I hahaha!” He couldn’t even speak correctly do to his fits of laughter.
So, she bestows to him her grace of selecting him out of the many, AND HE LAUGHS. A vein could have popped, and she whisked her head towards his direction. “You’re laughing! Quit it!” She grimaced and held onto herself longer; she could have tore a bit of her forearm’s skin with the stress she was undergoing. This was not fun at all! “I see, fine. Go laugh, just get out of my room, you idiot! I don’t need your help anymore!” She frowned, standing up and stomping her right foot. “The one who will be laughing is me, when you see me with my date!”
